QUOTATION REQUEST:   The price of decals varies according to the size, shape, quantity and number of runs needed in the decal production. Sometimes a double run of a same color is needed to get the best print quality. In order for us to give you an accurate quote, please send us an artwork with desired dimensions and intended substrate included.

SPECIAL COLORS / EFFECTS:   We provide most custom colors at no extra charge. We can usually match colors requested accurately. However, due to the nature of ceramic and glass paint, we cannot guarantee exact matches, especially colors with red and purple hues. Certain purples and maroons are considered special colors and are subject to additional charges. We offer decals with special effects such as sparkling flakes, rippled water, color-changing and embossed treatments. We like to work on new design ideas. Bring us your innovative ideas and we would gladly explore new design possibilities with you.

PRECIOUS METALS / METALICS:   We offer both real and fake gold and platinum. Quotes are based on real gold and platinum unless otherwise specified. Please specify if metallic colors need to be microwavable.

UNLEADED INKS:   Upon request, unleaded inks are available. We will work with you to determine the suitability of the artwork using unleaded inks.

COLOR TARGET:   When Pantone codes or color formulas are not available, the color target is used for accurate color matching when we reproduce the artwork on decal. The color target therefore needs to reflect the exact color desired in the final product. It can be a slide, decal, actual product, computer print out or the original artwork.

ARTWORK SUBMISSION:   Artwork that is not camera-ready may be subjected to additional art charges at $25 per hour. Please convert all text into curves before submitting your artwork. Specify each color with Pantone codes when a color target is not provided. We reserve the right to bill artwork charges up to $25 without prior approval.

Artwork in digital format needs to have a minimum resolution of 300 dpi at the actual size. We encourage clients to submit actual size artwork in 600 dpi and line art in 1200 dpi for best results. A resolution of 900 dpi is reccommended for bitmaps. We accept artwork in most major graphic software. PSD, EPS, and AI formats are preferred.

PROOFING + SETUP:   We provide actual decal proofs at a nominal sampling fee. Customer will be responsible for the setup fee based on the number of silk screens needed for the sample production. Screen charges runs at $35.00 per screen. We use an additional screen for the cover coat. Therefore, the number of screens charges is always one greater than the number of colors.

SHIPPING:   Actual shipping cost will be quoted and billed according to the carrier used. We are not responsible for delivery delays; title to the goods passes to the customer upon pickup point by carrier.

TURNAROUND TIME:   Our typical turnaround time is 7-10 days for proof upon order confirmation and an additional 7-10 days for the final production upon proof approval. Additional production time is needed when special effects or enhanced colors are needed.

OVERRUNS and UNDERRUNS:   We reserve the right to under or over ship by no more than 10% of the order quantity and bill accordingly.

COPYRIGHT & TRADEMARK:   Any artwork submitted by will be accepted as being designs in compliance with all copyright, trademark, service mark, right of privacy and similar laws. Customer agrees to hold Phylum harmless for any damages or expenses arising from claims against us for infringements of copyright, trademark, service mark, right of privacy and similar laws.

CANCELLATIONS:   Customer will be billed for expenses incurred for proof production, including but not limited to screens, setup, proof and freight should there be an order cancellation.
